In order to offer a complete range of machining, Mevar has also included in its services the processing of calendering for components in different metals such as titanium, iron, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and brass.

Creating different shapes with calendering

Calendering deforms the sheet making it pass through 2 or 4 rollers that, acting on the reciprocal position, allow the creation of oval, conical, cylindrical and pentagonal shapes. After the deformation, we obtain a disjoint item that can be joined with the help of the longitudinal welding system. This phase allows the perfect union of the two flaps ensuring an excellent sealing and an excellent aesthetic appearance.

Equipment for calendering:

n.1 Roccia Calender 4 rolls max length 600 mm - max thickness 1,5 mm.
n.1 Roccia Calender 2 rolls max length 650 mm - max thickness 2 mm.
